Benetti Launches 220-foot Superyacht

benetti

As its name suggests, Benetti’s new 220-foot superyacht Seasense was designed to maximize the connection with the sea. The yacht was launched last week from Benetti’s shipyard in Livorno, Italy. The owners have had multiple yachts, but this is their first Benetti. They also commissioned Dutch design firm Cor D. Rover to supersize the exterior spaces, while creating an integrated connection with the interior. One of the best examples of this is the stern area of the main deck. On most yachts, this is typically a limited entry to the saloon, often with just an outdoor dining table in a relatively confined cockpit space. On Seasense, there is an extended deck devoted to a swimming pool and sunning area. That, in turn, connects to the main saloon through sweeping glass doors that allow the outside in. Given its 35-foot beam, the area is like an expansive outdoor terrace.

If a sense of humor is on your dating checklist, Ricky’s is the place to keep both of you entertained with a carnival-inspired menu, arcade games, and live music. If your date isn’t smiling after eating bacon and blueberry funnel cake, deep fried Snickers with a KitKat crunch, or rum-infused dulche de leche drunken donut holes, then they just might not be the one. If nerves are at play, get into a drinking game to break the ice. Ricky’s offers table-tap beer bongs, more than 150 whiskey varieties, and a craft cocktail menu. The 17 Year Old You

rickys

The bar 17-year-old you would’ve killed to get into: At first glance, combining a selection of 150 whiskeys with a ride-on motorcycle arcade game might not seem like the BEST idea for a bar. But you’re in Miami, the rules are different. For big-kid fun, no bar in Miami comes close to Ricky’s, where a full-on video arcade with motorcycles, a Terminator shooting game, Pop-A-Shot, and other arcade classics give way to a big, spacious bar with its own music stage and beer pong table. Bartenders will also custom-mix a barrel of punch for you with a full bottle of booze, fresh fruit, and mixers to enjoy at your table while you play mini-beer pong. And on some nights a live band accompanies a karaoke contest, where actually good singers (and you, too, if you’re brave enough) compete for real money to see who can sing the best. The devil-may-care menu includes funnel cakes, sweet hot chicken & waffles, and buckets of popcorn.

There’s just something about Florida. Sandy white beaches, sunny weather, and radiant sunsets make the area a trendy destination year-round. Florida’s real estate market has exploded in recent years as homeowners continue to migrate to the scenic state, and Miami Beach—beloved for its beaches and bustling nightlife—is a particular hot spot. Though condos and apartments have proven popular with buyers, few things can rival the experience of owning a waterfront home in the region.

Surrounded by majestic banyan trees and towering palm trees, 5405 Lakeview Drive makes it easy for residents to soak up the sunshine Florida is known for. Located at the edge of Surprise Lake with direct access to Biscayne Bay, the six-bedroom home’s amenities include an expansive deck, a 40-foot boat slip, a hot tub, a barbecue, and a picnic table. An outdoor shower makes it easy for guests to wash off after doing laps in the shimmering pool. A vine-covered atrium showcases viridescent plants and a calming water feature.

Tucked away on a side street across from Dunkin Donuts, this former warehouse has been transformed by the Menin Group into an adult’s only Frat Party with loud dance music, a popular pool table and plenty of cool kids smoking out in the alley. Stop in for a taco and grab a cold cerveza from the ice chest before making your way through the secret door that leads to all the fun. There you’ll find a full bar and a laid back dress code that’s definitely not like any other place on South Beach.
